Museum Association/ Museums Journal article, 24 June 2022

The Museum of Oxford (MOX) reopened in October 2021 following an extensive redesign. We worked with Simon Leach Design for five years, reimagining the whole museum, including its layout, access, narrative sequence, design and visitor focus. The project creates a new ‘cultural hub’ at Oxford Town Hall with active learning and community participation at its core.
We conceived and created the exhibition graphic design and the new visual identity for the museum. Working closely with Simon Leach Design we oversaw and directed the av design and commissioned bespoke illustration for key exhibits. The visual language balances a bold colour palette and modern iconography with conscious restraint and respect for the object-rich displays.
